The services described above are Pre-Employment Transition Services. Unleash Your Abilities Inc. is approved by Vocational Rehabilitation as a provider of these services.
Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) assist students with disabilities in developing self-advocacy skills, preparing for the workforce, and gaining hands-on work experience.
Transition Youth Services Application
Students aged 14-21 who are enrolled in middle school, high school, post-secondary school (e.g., trade, college, or university), or in a private sector are eligible to apply. Students or youth out of school may not need academic or physical accommodations in high school, but may need them later, or may be considering dropping out of high school. Youth who are already out of school and aged 16-21 years old are also eligible.
A student’s disability or need for accommodations must be documented through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a 504 Plan, or a letterhead document from a private sector, signed by a school official.
The application process requires a parent or guardian’s signature for all applicants under the age of 18. To get started with VR, you can apply by completing the Pre-ETS Referral Form.
Unleash Your Abilities, Inc. will receive the application and submit it to VR on your behalf.
